Booking terms
Booking, cancellations and the practical bits.
The terms you agree to when you book a Hava session. We have tried to keep them in plain language.
Last updated: September 2026
Booking and payment
Your place is confirmed once payment has been taken, and not before. Until then the place is held only for as long as you are on the payment page.
Prices are per person and include all materials used during the session. Where a session is offered at an introductory price, that price applies while the offer is shown on the session and is not applied retrospectively to bookings already made.
Places are limited
Each session is limited to a small group — never more than ten people, and sometimes fewer, so that everyone has room to work and enough of our attention. Once a session is full it will show as sold out and cannot be booked. You are welcome to get in touch to be told if a place comes free.
If you need to cancel or change
We understand plans change. Let us know at least 72 hours before the session and we will offer you a full refund, or move your place to another available session — whichever you prefer.
Within 72 hours of the session we are not able to offer a refund or a transfer, because materials and studio preparation are planned and paid for in advance.
You are also welcome to pass your place to someone else at any time. Just tell us their name at the time of the transfer so we know who to expect.
If we need to cancel
If we cancel a session for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or a place at another session, whichever you prefer. Refunds are returned to the card you paid with.
Who can come
Hava sessions are designed for women aged 18 and over. Anyone under 18 is welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian who has booked their own place.
Getting there and accessibility
Sessions are held at The Millers’ Room / The Mill Arts Centre. Because of the age of the building the lifts are not currently in use, and the studio is reached by one flight of stairs.
Please tell us before you book if you have any questions about access. We would much rather talk it through than have you arrive and find it does not work for you.
What Hava is, and what it is not
Hava is a creative wellbeing experience. It is not therapy, counselling or clinical treatment of any kind, and it is not a substitute for them. If something surfaces during a session that you would like support with, we are glad to point you towards it, but we are not qualified to provide it.
Our responsibility to you
We take reasonable care to run sessions safely and to describe them accurately. We are not able to accept responsibility for personal belongings brought to the studio, or for anything outside our reasonable control — but nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected by these terms.
