The Experience
You don’t need to be an artist to come to Hava.
Each session give you a creative starting point: a technique, material, theme and a prompt. From there, you are invited to explore. The technique gives you a place to start. Your intuition decides where you go.
Step One
Arrive
Arrive at the studio, settle into your space and make yourself at home. You’ll be welcomed with a gentle introduction to the session, along with the creative theme, prompt and technique that will guide your experience.
Step Two
Connect
Before we begin creating, we take a moment to turn inward. You’ll set a quiet intention for the session and create space for your intuition to come to the surface — leaving the outside world behind and beginning to listen to what is already within you.
Step Three
Explore
Without overthinking, begin to notice what you’re drawn to — the colours, materials, textures, tools. There is no right or wrong choice. Simply follow your instinct and allow curiosity to lead you.
Step Four
Create
Using the technique as a starting point, begin to create. Keep the prompt in mind, but allow yourself to move freely. Notice what feels natural, what feels uncomfortable, and what keeps calling you back. This is about the process, not perfection.
Step Five
Reflect
When the creative process comes to a close, we make space to reflect. You’ll spend ten quiet minutes journalling on what surfaced — what you noticed, what you felt, what you discovered. There are no right answers, only an opportunity to listen more closely.
Step Six
Carry with you
Take your creation home as a reminder of the journey you took to make it. You’ll also receive a tarot card and a personalised print — an invitation to continue at the next Hava session. The session may end when you leave the studio, but what you discover can keep unfolding.
What does creating intuitively mean?
Paying attention to your own responses as you create.
You might choose a colour because it feels right. Repeat a shape because you’re drawn to it. Change direction because something isn’t quite working, or continue without knowing exactly where the work is going.
There is no single outcome, no pressure to create the same thing as everyone else, and no need to justify your choices. Two people can begin with exactly the same prompt and create something completely different — that’s the point.
