Hava’s Story
Born from my own creative experience.
For much of my career I’ve worked within design — a world of brand guidelines, colour palettes and the expectation of a finished outcome. I love the thought and discipline behind it. But some of my most meaningful work came from somewhere else entirely.
It came from experimentation. From following a feeling. From making marks without knowing exactly where they would lead, and allowing the work to unfold.
That made me wonder: what might happen if we gave ourselves permission to create without needing to know the outcome?
One of my favourite examples in my own practice is a piece I drew entirely from intuition — I wasn’t thinking about where it might end up, or whether it would look “right”. I simply chose colours based on the emotion I wanted to communicate, and let the piece develop. It was later published in Vogue Germany. It still surprises me, because it reminds me that the work we create when we stop trying to make it perfect is often the work that reaches others most deeply.
Hava’s Philosophy
Our intuition is sacred.
It doesn’t always arrive as a clear answer. Sometimes it’s simply a feeling, a pull, a sense that something is right for us — or that it isn’t. Creativity gives us a beautiful, low-stakes place to practise responding to it: to follow the colour we’re drawn to, make the mark that feels right, take the unexpected path, change our minds, make mistakes — and discover that we can trust ourselves.
The wisdom of female intuition
Returning to yourself is a powerful act.
For many of us, life has taught us to look outside ourselves for answers — to seek advice, ask permission, overthink, second-guess. Over time that instinctive voice can grow quieter. Not because it has disappeared, but because we’ve become less used to listening to it.
Hava gives you the space to listen. Through practice and play, we become familiar with our own inner voice again — and that trust can travel with you far beyond the page, into the decisions you make and the life you create.
